Mentorship/MBO

When you start your career with us you will choose or be assigned a Mentor. A Mentor is a Senior Project Manager, Principal or Partner who will work together with you to make sure you progress on a personal and professional level throughout your career.
You will receive personal feedback from your project managers on client assignments (see [on-the-job training]). Your mentor will make sure that your project manager is aware of the main development axes that you have defined for yourself and he will collect, consolidate and discuss all project evaluations you receive.

MbO

The cornerstone of the collaboration between a Mentor and a Mentee is a yearly personal development plan in which they agree on challenging and feasible objectives, the so-called Management-by-Objectives agreement or "MbO".

The MbO enables you and your Mentor to set clear targets in various topics such as project related skills and office development. It is also a means to express your general ambitions for instance in terms of career development or industry specialization. Additionally you will identify the seminars which can enable you to reach your objectives.

Your achievements are compared to your MbO agreement at least twice a year. Decisions on promotions and variable remuneration are in large part the result of these MbO assessments (see evaluation).
