Experience abroad

As the leading strategy consultancy of European origin, our multi-cultural heritage is very important to us. Many of our consultants already have one or more international experiences either in their academic or their professional career.

We foster the values of multi-culturalism by offering our consultants the opportunity to work in one of our international offices. There are four possibilities if you want to broaden your horizons by working internationally:

• Firstly, you can work on a Belgian project with a lot of international exposure. You can expect around two thirds of our Belgian projects to have a significant international dimension. Although they do not all require travelling to other countries, you'll be in contact with client sites in other countries and you will meet people from different backgrounds.
• Secondly, you can work on a project in another country. This means being based abroad for the duration of the project (except on week-ends of course). The Brussels office's management is in close contact with other offices and will be able to identify staffing opportunities in other countries
• Thirdly, when you have some experience, you can request a long term but temporary move to another office. Provided that you fulfill some requirements (e.g. language) and that the other office agrees to the move, you can join any office in the Roland Berger network for up to three years.
• The last option is to switch offices permanently. As explained above, this requires some conditions to be met.
