Bruno Colmant, Director
Bruno is a member of the management team of the Brussels office and responsible for the Financial Services competence center.
Bruno is a well-known expert in corporate finance, financial markets, risk management, accountancy and tax law. Moreover, he has a deep understanding of banking and insurance.
Before joining Roland Berger, Bruno held several top management positions in financial services: CEO of ING Luxembourg, CFO of ING Belgium and member of the Board of Directors, Cabinet head of the Belgian Finance ministry, CEO of the Brussels Stock Exchange, member of the management committee of the New York Stock Exchange and co-CEO of Ageas.
He is also a member of several Boards, such as Alcopa, Vlerick and Royal Park Investments. In addition, Bruno is the president of the Belgian CFA Society.
Bruno also teaches finance at several Belgian universities (Solvay, Vlerick, ICHEC and UCL) and is author of over 40 books. He is also a columnist for the Belgian press and a member of the Royal Academy of Belgium.
Bruno is a commercial engineer from the Solvay Business School and also holds a master in fiscal law and MBA (Purdue University, Indiana, US) and a PhD in applied economics sciences (Solvay Business School). He also holds several professional distinctions such as CFA, FRM, PRM, ISMA, CIA.
